Sessions are usually 50 minutes long and we ask that you arrive 10 minutes early for your first appointment.

Fees for Sessions are assessed on a sliding scale based on your gross household income. The maximum fee is $120, and if you offer us income numbers,

we can see if you qualify for a reduced rate. We will determine your fee with you when you make your first appointment. We understand that the cost of therapy can be overwhelming for people who are unemployed or have an income of below the poverty line. Because of this, Hali offers a limited number of appointments per week at $35/session for those who meet the financial criteria. 

Hali may provide letters upon request for a fee:

1 Page: $15

2 Pages: $30

Report of 3 or more pages: $60

Payment can be made by e-transfer prior to the appointment, credit card, cash, or cheque; you will receive a receipt for your payment.

An Important Comment About Insurance: Hali can direct bill through Shepell/Morneua and Homewood Health and is currently working on direct billing through other insurance providers. You may also want to check with your employer to see if your workplace has an internal Employee Assistance Plan that can help with the cost of counselling.

Confidentiality is important for everyone who is courageous enough to seek out counselling. What you tell Hali will not be told to anyone else unless you request it or give permission.

12 Stones Counselling Services Confidentiality Policy states that all notes, records, and communications are kept secure and confidential. No one will reveal information concerning your counselling to anyone outside 12 Stones Counselling Services except as follows:

• You consent in writing
  
• Life or safety is seriously threatened
  
• Disclosure is required by law
  
• Your session is paid by a 3rd party who requires identification as part of the billing agreement
  
• Clinical Consultation
  

Please Note Our 24-Hour Cancellation Policy: 

Hali Reimer-Chaplin, MA is a qualified, able professional who is reserving her time to meet with you, as you are reserving your time to come to see her. 

We require that all clients provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice to cancel an appointment. 

You will be charged a fee if you fail to provide 24 hours' notice to cancel.
